Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Expect long-running club DJ logic: funk, soul, jazz, disco, boogie, hip-hop, house, Latin, breaks and Brazilian cuts mixed for movement. The ADE slot is with live musicians in the room, so this is likely to lean into loose, improvised transitions rather than clean peak-hour club tools.

More about Phil Horneman

Phil Horneman heads Wicked Jazz Sounds, one of Amsterdam’s better-known groove institutions, and the festival text places him at the centre of that live-plus-DJ format. The festival bio also ties him to pirate radio, a tiny CD shop in the Netherlands, and the Amsterdam Love Prince collective.

A story

He started out at school parties in 1979, then ran the smallest CD store in the Netherlands. In their own words
