Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Live modular techno, built on the spot rather than sequenced. The sets lean on gritty low-end pressure, rolling drums, analog instability and small timbral shifts that keep the groove moving without sounding programmed.

More about Paul Ray

Paul Ray is a modular techno live act working out of Germany. He’s part of the live-techno lane that treats the modular as the instrument, with no presets or playback; his own site says each performance is improvised from scratch, and recent bills place him in Amsterdam/Berlin underground techno lineups alongside other live acts.

A story

He says there are no presets and no playback in his live setup. In their own words
