Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026
Designer making music you can feel in a hammock.
Based in Netherlands
This is tactile listening: vibrations, low frequencies and body-contact rather than a conventional PA experience. At ADE, the music hammocks frame the set as a physically immersive installation, with live performers using the system in real time.
Parker Hertzberger works in multisensory installation, using vibrating Music Hammocks to translate sound into touch. His practice is built around collaborations with musicians and DJs, and his website positions the work as a global festival/cultural event format rather than a one-off art object.
