Orpheu The Wizard
Amsterdam selector and Red Light Radio co-founder
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands · Plays most in Amsterdam, London, Rotterdam
His sets move fast between 4/4 house, disco, dubby left turns, and oddball edits. He likes long, narrative blends rather than a straight run of floor weapons, so the room can drift from floating to grounded in one stretch.
More about Orpheu The Wizard
Orpheu de Jong is one of the people who shaped Amsterdam’s record-digging culture from the inside: Red Light Radio co-founder, Dekmantel family, and a designer tied closely to that crew. The point of the name is curation with a collector’s ear, not producer hype; his reputation comes from what he plays and how he frames it. ([ra.co](https://ra.co/dj/orpheuthewizard/biography))
