Based in Copenhagen, Denmark and Berlin, Germany · From Denmark

This is an installation built from underwater recordings and body-shaking low end rather than a club set. The programme text names whale song, hydrothermal vents and human-made noise, with 4DSOUND turning it into a spatial piece that moves through darkness and flashes of light.

More about Olafur Eliasson

Eliasson is the Icelandic-Danish artist behind Studio Olafur Eliasson in Berlin, with a long run of work around light, perception and environmental systems. Deep Seeing Currents fits that line: a museum-grade sound-and-light environment staged in ARTIS Aquarium, with 4DSOUND handling the spatial audio setup.
