Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026
Wicked Jazz Sounds trombonist and live-session regular
He is listed with Wicked Jazz Sounds for a club night built around DJs and live musicians, and a 2014 Wicked Jazz Sounds video credits him on trombone with vocals, sax and DJ support. Expect live brass cutting through funk, soul, hip-hop and house grooves rather than a straight jazz set. Wicked Jazz Sounds is an Amsterdam platform active since 2002, built around club nights that mix jazz, funk, hip-hop, disco, soul, electronica, breaks, house, afro, drum & bass and latin. Odei Al-Magut shows up in that ecosystem as a live player, not a front-facing solo act, which puts him in the city’s long-running crossover club band scene.
