NickV
Paris-based funk, disco and house DJ
Based in Paris, France
NickV’s sets move from hip-hop, disco and electro-funk through deep house, broken beat, techno soul and newer bass-adjacent club sounds. Chunky drums, elastic edits, and long-form selections keep the room moving.
More about NickV
He came up in Paris’s underground club circuit in the 2000s, with long-running residencies at Guys & Dolls, Otra Otra, Club Disco and Ballroom. The biography places him alongside Laurent Garnier, Dimitri from Paris, DJ Deep, Âme, Greg Wilson, i:cube and Ivan Smagghe, which is the right neighbourhood for his genre-crossing, crowd-moving approach.
A story
He co-runs EDIT, a midweek residency at Le Rex Club in Paris. In their own words
