DJ NiMe
Vinyl house DJ from Landsmeer
Based in Netherlands · From Landsmeer, Netherlands
Classic-records house DJing: filtery blends, disco and electro touchpoints, and a vinyl-first approach shaped by early-eighties turntablism. His own writeup points straight at house as the center of gravity, so this slot should be a broad, crowd-reading marathon set.
More about DJ NiMe
He started on belt-drive decks in the early eighties, made cassette mixes for schoolyard circulation, and later founded the Zaanse underground collective Z.U.C. Since 2021 he has also been a resident on Amsterdam Most Wanted, which fits the radio-and-community side of his profile.
A story
His mixes were recorded on cassette tapes and played in the schoolyard. In their own words
