MRD
Norwegian producer mixing techno with pop and new wave
From Norway
His productions fold sung melodies into hard-edged techno, with ambient space, new-wave sheen, and flashes of hardcore weight. Live, that usually means tense drums, bittersweet hooks, and a set that moves between euphoria and abrasion.
More about MRD
He comes out of the Norwegian club scene, but his background in pop and hip-hop production gives the tracks a wider melodic range than standard peak-time techno. His own vocals are part of the signature, which makes his performances feel closer to songs than tool-only club sets.
