Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Warm, percussive house with a lot of swing, cut from soul samples, drum-machine workouts, and Detroit-leaning chords. Expect a DJ set that moves between dusty disco, rolling deep house, and sturdier techno pressure rather than staying in one lane.

More about Motor City Drum Ensemble

Danilo Plessow came up in Stuttgart, first under Inverse Cinematics before turning MCDE into his best-known house alias. He’s tied to the German deep-house lane around MCDE Records and the wider European circuit that treats Detroit, Chicago, and jazz-funk as source material, not retro costume.

A story

He started drumming at six and making productions at eleven. In their own words
