Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Montee’s SoundCloud bio describes lo-fi textures, detuned synths, UK garage, house, and breakbeats, and his catalog backs that up with drum & bass, techno, and more melodic club material. For ADE, this reads like a forward-moving set with a lot of lift in the top end, chopped rhythm, and a sentimental center rather than a straight rollers-only session.

More about Montee

He is Cologne-based and has built a large audience without a label, which fits a very internet-native lane: SoundCloud, YouTube, and Spotify doing the heavy lifting. The project name on his channels is ‘emotional dance music,’ and his recent output includes the EP The Future That Never Was plus singles like Duality and High On You, so he sits in the current melodic/breakbeat crossover zone rather than classic DnB orthodoxy.
