Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Monsieur Van Pratt’s releases lean on disco loops, funky basslines, and house-ready edits, with a lot of Spanish-language material in recent 12s. The set is likely to be shiny, percussion-forward, and built for movement rather than deep build-ups, with some jazz-funk and nu-disco gloss on top.

More about Monsieur Van Pratt

He runs Super Spicy Records and comes out of the Mexico City disco/funk/house lane. Discogs and SoundCloud show a steady run of vinyl and edit releases, including the Illegal Disco series and records on Too Slow To Disco-linked imprints, which puts him in the edit culture that feeds a lot of modern disco floors.
