Mirella Kroes
Hypnotic techno DJ with trancey, airy builds
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands · From Netherlands · Plays most in Amsterdam, All, Rotterdam
She works the deeper end of techno: low-tempo pressure, looping momentum and a lot of space between the drums. The programme text adds the live angle, so this ADE slot should feel less like a peak-time smash and more like a controlled, atmospheric build with a club pulse underneath.
More about Mirella Kroes
Kroes is part of the Dutch techno circuit that runs through Amsterdam, the older north-Holland rave schools and rooms like Trouw, De School and Bassiani. Her SoundCloud mixes and the festival bio both frame her as a DJ who leans into trancey, cerebral techno rather than straight utility tools.
A story
She started buying records with her older brother, who taught her to mix at 19. In their own words
