Michael Mayer
Kompakt co-boss and long-running selector
Based in Cologne, Germany · From Germany · Plays most in Barcelona, Cologne, London
Mayer's lane sits between clean microhouse, taut minimal techno, and warm techno, with a collector's ear for functional tracks and elegant tension. The Kompakt bio points to his DJ sets, mix CDs, and a steady catalog of singles, albums, and remixes rather than any one fixed style.
