Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Large-format orchestral writing with brass, strings, rhythm section, and guest vocal features, built for a concert-hall scale rather than a club rig. At ADE this is a crossover set: Kybba’s basshall and dancehall material gets reworked for orchestra, with Simon Dobson conducting and special guests on top.

More about Metropole Orkest

The Metropole Orkest comes out of Dutch radio-orchestra tradition and has long lived in the space between jazz, pop, film, and live large-ensemble collaboration. Their ADE opening concert is a long-running Melkweg partnership, and this edition marks 10 years of that collaboration and ADE’s 30th anniversary. Kybba’s side of the bill brings Basshall Movement’s dancehall, afro, and Caribbean lane into the room. ([mo.nl](https://www.mo.nl/en/agenda/2026-en/ade-kybba-metropole-orkest))
