Meindert Kennis
Music industry executive leading ADE mentoring session
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
This is an industry talk, not a musical performance. Kennis is there as a strategist and former ADE leader, so the room will be about artist development, label strategy, and career navigation rather than sound design or club programming.
More about Meindert Kennis
Kennis spent years in the record business and at Spinnin’ Records before becoming co-director of ADE in 2019, and ADE’s own history page says he formed the event’s directorial duopoly with Jan-Willem van de Ven during the COVID years. The Listening Room credits him, Jorn Heringa, and Roger de Graaf as the mentors behind an invite-only advice format for emerging producers and DJs.
A story
He started behind the counter of a record store before moving into Spinnin’ Records and ADE leadership. In their own words
