MC Multiplex
Dutch drum & bass MC with punk roots
Based in Netherlands
He came up as a punk singer, then moved into drum & bass and jungle as an MC. Expect clipped crowd-control patter, call-and-response hype, and fast cadences riding breakbeats rather than sitting on top of them. On a sunrise train set, he is there to keep the room moving while the selectors stay in the pocket.
More about MC Multiplex
He comes out of Utrecht’s bass network and the Utreg Massive circle, where he became a resident after meeting MC Chakra. ADE and his own site both frame him as a Dutch junglist with roots in the squatting and illegal-party scenes, and his work has linked him to Cheeky Monday and other Dutch bass nights. He has also been called on by names like Black Sun Empire, Noize Suppressor and Electrikal Soundsystem in Partyflock coverage, which is the kind of bass MC circuit he belongs to.
