Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Marylou’s sets move fast between dub pressure, bass weight, jungle breaks, footwork edits, noise textures and sudden traditional or improvised detours. The tempos can lurch from murky halftime to frantic percussion; the thread is dense low end, sharp contrast and a very live-sounding sense of surprise.

More about Marylou

She comes out of the Paris and Berlin experimental club axis, with links to Morphine Records, Ominira and OOH-sounds, and she has hosted shows on Rinse France, Cashmere and NTS. RA lists her as a French-born, Berlin-based DJ; her profile and mix descriptions also place her around SHAPE+ and Morphine Raum, which fits her role in the current European bass-and-experimental circuit.

A story

Before DJing, she worked in painting, cinema, writing, drawing and promoting in Paris. In their own words
