Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Her Bandcamp bio says it plainly: emotional impressionism and IDM atmospherics, with breakbeat hardcore and dancefloor house in the same frame. In a club, that usually means sharp drums, bright melodic fragments, and sudden switches between tension and lift.

More about Maruwa

Maruwa’s own bio places her in Saint Petersburg, the city she ties to 90s rave culture, while Resident Advisor lists her base in Germany. That mix of Russian rave memory and current German club circulation fits the sound: modern, but built from older club references that still read on the floor. ([ra.co](https://ra.co/dj/maruwa))

A story

Her Bandcamp bio calls Saint Petersburg the “rave capital of Russia” as people described it in the 90s. In their own words
