Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Dettmann’s sets move from reduced techno into Chicago house, electro, and industrial, keeping the room in tension rather than leaning on one groove for too long. The booking at ADE is a DJ appearance, so expect that broad, physical, record-store sensibility instead of a straight producer showcase.

More about Marcel Dettmann

He is tied to Berlin through Hard Wax and Berghain, and the city’s post-wall club culture is central to his profile. His own MDR label extends that role as a curator, while the records on Ostgut Ton and Dekmantel mark him out as someone who kept moving past the obvious Berghain lane.

A story

He worked at Berlin’s Hard Wax record store for a decade, from 2002 to 2012. Source
