Mandragora
Mexican-born futureprog psytrance DJ and producer
Based in Toulouse, France · From Mexico
Futureprog sits at the centre: melodic psytrance built for lift-off, with long builds, rubbery low end, and a brighter, more progressive shape than older full-on psy. His festival set should be a high-BPM run with big drops and sunrise-slot momentum.
More about Mandragora
He came up through Brazil’s psytrance circuit before basing himself in Toulouse in 2021, which puts him in the transatlantic psy network rather than a single-city club scene. The project is explicitly tied to future progressive, and his 2014 mix shows how long he’s been framing that sound as a named lane.
