Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Makèz make house with warm low-end, swung percussion and vocal hooks, usually keeping it soulful rather than glossy. Their Bandcamp releases point to disco and deep-house arrangements with guest vocals, and the ADE bill at Glitterbox/Defected suggests a set aimed squarely at a bright, dancefloor-friendly peak-time crowd.

More about Makèz

They’re an Amsterdam duo and their recent release 'Arriving Home Elsewhere' came out on No Art, the Amsterdam imprint behind some of the city’s current house lane. The project also links them to names like Life On Planets, Ben Westbeech, Douniah, 30/70 and dreamcastmoe, which places them in the international soulful-house circuit rather than a purely local scene.
