Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Warm, looping house with a techno edge: steady drums, patient arrangement, and a deep, sample-based sensibility. The records sit in that Sushitech pocket where the kick stays functional but the soul and detail do the work.

More about Makam

Makam is from The Hague and is now Amsterdam-based, with a long run through the Dutch house scene and major club bookings at places like Trouw, Panoramabar, Robert Johnson, Fabric and Rex. His name is closely tied to Sushitech/Sushitech Purple, and his 2010 album ‘How Long Is Now?’ is the cleanest marker of that era.
