Maga Knaup
Madrid-based techno DJ with groovy hardgroove lean
Based in Madrid, Spain · From Argentina
Her sets run on groovy techno, hardgroove momentum and acid tension, with a dark, percussive low end. The BCCO mix and Madrid live recordings point to a driving club set that stays physical and compact rather than wide-open or ambient.
More about Maga Knaup
Maga Knaup started in Buenos Aires and is now based in Madrid, coming out of the city’s underground club and collective circuit. Her published BCCO mix and local live sets place her in the European hardgroove/hypnotic techno lane, and her radio project Cosmic Tunes extends that curation beyond the booth.
A story
Her first contact with electronic music came from pirated Love Parade CDs in the 1990s. In their own words
