Maceo Plex
Techno and electro head with Lone Romantic
Plays most in Ibiza, Amsterdam, Barcelona
This showcase spans electro, techno, breakbeat and melodic material, so expect machines doing most of the talking: big low-end, crisp drums, and hooks that stay clean rather than cloudy. The Lone Romantic output includes club records and vocal cuts, but the festival framing suggests a sharper DJ set than an album listen.
More about Maceo Plex
He runs Lone Romantic and records under Maceo Plex, Maetrik and Mariel Ito, a sign of a producer who moves between aliases and moods without leaving the club frame. The festival text names him as a veteran techno figure with a long run of big records and labels, and the SoundCloud catalog confirms the Lone Romantic lane.
