Canadian DJ Maara, deep in house and club pressure
Based in Canada
Maara’s set will sit in the house-to-club pocket: rolling drums, clipped bass, and mixes that keep a steady floor-moving pulse. Her own tracks and mixes travel well between warehouse pressure and late-night groove, with enough swing to keep things loose.
Resident Advisor lists Maara-Louisa Dunbar as the real name, with Canada as location and aliases including mortar & pestle and bass butches. RA also shows her playing internationally across Berlin, Montreal, New York City and Paris, which fits a selector used to moving between scenes.
