Amsterdam techno DJ/produccer with textured, driving sets
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
LUAR’s sets sit in tense, driving techno: rolling bass, gritty drums, eerie synth washes, and a lot of pressure in the midrange. The mix is built for continuity rather than drops, with a steady push that keeps the floor locked in.
He comes out of Amsterdam’s underground club circuit and presents himself as a producer and DJ focused on tactile sound design rather than polish. Recent releases include the 2026 EP 'Constant Pressure' on ATDEP008 and 'Rewired' on Drawner Records, which place him in the current Amsterdam techno lane alongside labels and podcasts that favour dark, functional 4/4.
