Instrumental jam band with electronic lean
Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
Lotus sit in the pocket between live-band propulsion and electronic processing: guitars, keys, bass and drums built for long grooves, with room for synth lines and extended jams. Expect a set that leans into improvisation, with songs stretched and reshaped for the room rather than a strict club-format DJ flow.
This is the instrumental electronic jam band formed in Goshen in 1998 and now based in Philadelphia and Denver. They come out of the US jam-band circuit, where the pull is as much about live arrangement and crowd momentum as it is about the studio version of a track.
