Cape Town selector now based in Amsterdam
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Klankers digs in the progressive end of 90s club music, with euphoric builds and a useful amount of room between the kick drums. A recent mix description names dubby grooves, delicate breaks, flickering acid, and immersive atmospherics, which is the clearest guide to what he’ll do in a club.
He’s Mickael Michaelides, born and raised in Cape Town and now based in the Netherlands, with RA and mix coverage placing him in Amsterdam club circulation. The scene read is a selector’s one: crates, old-school progressions, and a taste for long-form club continuity rather than obvious drops.
