Born in Acre and raised in upper Galilee, she spent two decades as the lead singer of Sabreen in East Jerusalem before moving to Europe. Sabreen started in 1980 under Said Murad, and Jubran’s solo work kept her at the center of experimental Arabic music circles, including releases like 'Makan' and 'Wanabni'.
