KAMEO
Los Angeles house and disco DJ
Based in Los Angeles, United States
KAMEO’s own SoundCloud bio calls his sound bass-heavy, groovy, and underground, with hip hop, funk, disco, house, and techno in the mix. The ADE bill suggests a house-focused set built for warm swing, vocal chops, and crowd-moving basslines, not a straight textbook deep-house set.
More about KAMEO
He comes out of the Los Angeles underground and has made a career out of reading rooms and blending styles into something practical for clubs. The profile text also ties him to a family restaurant job at Fatburger, which is a very LA origin story for a DJ who learned crowd dynamics early.
A story
He says he discovered music while working at his family’s Fatburger restaurant in Los Angeles. In their own words
