Kamara
Amsterdam-based DJ threading melody into club sets
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands · Plays most in Amsterdam, Shanghai, All
He leans toward rolling, uplifting DJ sets where melody does a lot of the work. The festival bio points to new wave, post-punk, synth-rock, and indie dance, so expect driving rhythms, bright harmonic movement, and a set that keeps its mood open rather than hard-locked to one tempo.
More about Kamara
He’s part of Danziger Studio, a resident crew at one of Amsterdam’s last underground clubs in Houthavens. That places him in the city’s left-of-center club continuum, where indie-dance and post-punk references sit comfortably beside straight club function.
