Samgar has been performing since 2009 and works out of Amsterdam. He sits in the Dutch spoken-word scene as both a performer and organizer, having founded Spoken Agency in 2017 and Stichting De Verteller in 2023 to support artists with stages, education and production help. He has also contributed to NACHTKRACHT, where he wrote and performed a poetic tribute to Amsterdam nightlife.
