JDUB FROM CHICAGO
Chicago house DJ and vocalist
Based in Chicago, United States · From United States
House sets with a vocal lead, jackin’ swing, and older-school club pressure. The programme text and SoundCloud page point to a DJ who works vinyl-heavy, with Chicago house phrasing, guest-voiced cuts, and the occasional rough-edged live mic feel.
More about JDUB FROM CHICAGO
He’s part of the Chicago house network around DJ Sneak, Greenskeepers, Smart Bar, Shelter, and long-running North American and European club routes. The festival bio also ties him to Blu Funk Recordings and a run of vocal releases on DFA, Smash Hit, Rockstar, GKM, Farris Wheel, Homecoming, and Exploited.
A story
He posted an all-vinyl set with DJ Sneak and joked that the record skips were “the spice of the medium.” In their own words
