Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

His own bio and Beatport page point to long, melodic club sets with a progressive backbone rather than peak-time bangers. Expect tight percussion, long builds, and synth-led emotional pressure; his recent Beatport listings include 125 BPM peak-time/driving material.

More about Jaap Ligthart

Jaap Ligthart comes out of the Dutch club circuit and the national radio lane around SLAM!'s Boom Room, with releases spread across Sudbeat, Global Underground, Selador, UGENIUS and more. Discogs shows a long release trail, including a 2015 collaboration with Alice Rose and a 2025/2026 run of newer work, so he sits in the modern melodic/progressive pocket that travels well across Europe.
