Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

He plays lean, leftfield club music: electro, house, disco, synth-pop, and techno with a rough-edged swing. The sets usually move between dry drum machines, warped edits, and older tracks with a sharp, clipped feel.

More about Ivan Smagghe

He comes out of Paris club culture and has long been tied to Kill The DJ and Les Disques de la Mort with Leon Oakey. His duo work with Tim Paris as It’s A Fine Line sits in the more eccentric end of house and disco, and RA’s mix archive shows him as a selector with a strong archive sense.
