Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

DJ sets lean into rolling Afro-house drums, clipped percussion, and long-build transitions. Expect sun-baked vocal hooks, deep bass pressure, and a few tougher, industrial-edged RISE cuts like the Hyenah x beatsbyhand material on the label.

More about Hyenah

Hyenah is one of the names behind RISE, the Berlin-based collective and label with members from Nigeria, Angola, Congo, Germany, Senegal, and Ethiopia. The project sits in the Afro-house lane and has also pushed out releases on Watergate, Freerange, and Objektivity, with RISE’s SoundCloud framing it as a space built around African house music and social justice.
