Hernan Cattaneo
Progressive house DJ, long-form b2b with Nick Warren
Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina · Plays most in Amsterdam, Miami, London
Long blends, steady drum programming, and roomy low-end; this is built for patient pacing rather than big drops. Expect warm melodic lifts, classic prog-house phrasing, and a set that leans into transitions and carry rather than peak-time pressure.
More about Hernan Cattaneo
Born in Caballito, Buenos Aires, Cattaneo is one of Argentina’s defining house DJs and a major South American export. His name is tied to the progressive lane through long-running work on the Global Underground series and his own releases, with current association around Sudbeat and a catalogue that keeps him central to the genre’s older, deeper circuit.
A story
He says his first exposure to Chicago house came when a friend returned from Vinylmania in New York with records in 1987. In their own words
