Heliotrope is a mirrored kinetic installation: blades move, light beams are broken up, and reflections turn the room into a shifting mechanical landscape. The piece is built around sun-tracking, tropism and the overlap between engineered motion and living systems.

Blanken brings installation, scenography and nature-based visual work from Amsterdam; de Bruin works from Soesterberg on mechanical installations and machine-like objects that rethink the human-machine relationship. Together they sit in the Dutch hybrid-art lane where sculpture, motion and light are treated like instruments.
