Grit is Gerrit Dijkstra, active in computer music since 1989 and part of the Dutch electro/live-electronics lineage around ADE-era club and hardware culture. His first CD, Limiter, was a rock/electronic breaks collaboration with Jason Kohnen and Sjors Vellekoop, and he later performed as General Electric, winning the Public’s Award in the Dance/Producer category of the Grote Prijs van Nederland.
