Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

House and disco with a collector’s ear: clean drums, old records, oddball left turns, and the kind of pacing that keeps a room moving without flattening it. The ADE listings put him in both a DJ-Kicks bill and the WhoMadeWho daytime slot, so this should lean on selection and control rather than brute force.

More about Gerd Janson

Resident Advisor says he runs Running Back and DJs worldwide; the biography adds that he does so with Thorsten Scheu aka Glance, and that he was a regular at Mannheim’s Milk Club in the early ’90s. The festival bio also notes his writing for Spex and Groove, which explains why his taste profile has so much weight in German club culture. ([ra.co](https://ra.co/dj/gerdjanson))
