GENE
Vinyl-only house and minimal selector from Italy
Based in Switzerland · From Suzzara, Italy
Vinyl-only sets, with house, electronica, and minimal at the core, so expect long blends, dry drums, and a patient, collector’s ear. Built for a room that likes records more than tricks, with emotional curves rather than big drops.
More about GENE
Mauro Genitrini has been in the clubbing scene since 1995 and came up through Italian nightlife in places like Ibiza, Riccione, Milan, Bologna, Verona, Berlin and London. Now based in Switzerland, he sits in that cross-border European vinyl-selector tradition where house and minimal stay tightly mixed.
A story
He has been called Gene by friends since before his clubbing years, and the name stuck as his artist name. In their own words
