Fatboy Slim
Big beat DJ, producer and remixer
Based in Brighton, England
Expect breakbeat stomp, cheeky samples, big hooks, and rock-dance crossover edits that play to a large room. His sets and records are built for immediate payoff: chunky drums, familiar vocal snippets, and a lot of forward motion.
More about Fatboy Slim
Norman Cook came up through The Housemartins before shifting into dance music in Brighton. He helped define the late-90s big beat lane through Fatboy Slim, after earlier success with Beats International, Freak Power, and Pizzaman, and he’s still the name attached to that British festival-scale crossover sound.
