Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

French producer of bassy, melodic electronic collages
From Caen, France · Plays most in Paris, Berlin, London
Fakear’s music sits on soft-edged synths, clipped drums, and bass that leans more warm than brutal. The 2025 mixtape 'open world' and the new album 'a nice place to be' point to a set that moves between headphone detail and low-end club pressure, with cleaner melodies and a relaxed glide.
He comes out of Caen and the French electronic scene, where his Bandcamp bio places him among the newer names in the country’s bass-music revival. The festival text adds the earlier post-dubstep and Miyazaki tilt; the recent releases on his own Bandcamp show he’s still working in that lane, with albums and mixtapes that keep the production glossy and personal.
His parents raised him on Ravel, Ismaël Lô, and Cheb Mami before he found Daft Punk and guitar. In their own words
