Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

This is a talk-plus-set slot, not a club workout. The programme says he is presenting four favourite DJ mixes, then closing with a DJ set, so expect crate-heavy selections, older house and disco references, and a historian’s ear rather than a contemporary club format.

More about Eddy de Clercq

Eddy de Clercq is widely described as one of the pioneers of Dutch dance culture and the first Dutch house DJ. He co-founded and served as creative director and DJ at Club RoXY, and has long been linked with Amsterdam’s early house and club scenes; VPRO also notes his Soul Safari archive and a recent LP, Afrotronic.
