Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Fast, bass-heavy DJ sets that move between darkside UKG edits, breakbeats, Jersey club, 2-step and sharper techno turns. Expect chopped vocals, heavy low end and a lot of swing rather than straight four-to-the-floor pressure.

More about Dr Dubplate

London-born, Bristol-based, he runs ec2a, the label behind a lot of the current post-pandemic UK underground chatter. Mixmag and Fabric both place him in the current UK bass/garage lane, with sets that pull from the wider soundsystem tradition and the newer rave circuit around it.

A story

He grew up around Plastic People because his father managed the club, and spent weeks in the cloakroom hearing Floating Points, Theo Parrish and Four Tet. In their own words
