Donna Gibson
Vinyl disco selector with tropical and Afro-leaning bags
From Paris, France · Plays most in Paris, London
100% vinyl sets moving from tropical boogie and soulful disco into Afro synth and zouk. Expect warm low-end, bright percussion, big choruses, and a record-digger flow.
More about Donna Gibson
She comes out of a Paris family line tied to the Gibson Brothers, with her musical upbringing framed by soul and pop 7-inch records. The emphasis on 45s and digging across scenes makes her fit the We Love 45s lane: selector culture, global crate-hunting, and dance music with a collector’s ear.
A story
She is the daughter of Patrick from the Gibson Brothers and grew up around 7-inch records. In their own words
