Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

This is the squelchy end of house: Roland TB-303 lines, hard drum-machine kick, and the lean, stripped arrangement that made 'Acid Track' a template. His current releases still lean into acid and wild pitch, so a DJ set here is likely to run from raw Chicago pressure into tougher modern club edits.

More about DJ Pierre

DJ Pierre is Nathaniel Pierre Jones, the Phuture member behind 'Acid Track' and one of the names tied to the birth of acid house. The festival bio also places him inside Strictly Rhythm history and as a mentor figure for Felix Da Housecat and Roy Davis Jr.

A story

The 35-year 'Acid Track' remix project was framed as a celebration of his first major release and the start of acid house. Source (fan or blog page)
