DJ Hugo H.
Chicago house DJ, editor and vinyl obsessive
Based in Chicago, United States · From United States
Classic Chicago house with edits, chunky drum programming and a deep respect for older soul and disco records. He plays like someone who keeps one foot in rare-groove history and the other on a packed dance floor.
More about DJ Hugo H.
His festival bio places him in the Chicago house line that runs through Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dunn, Tyree Cooper and Frankie Knuckles-era surroundings. It also says he co-wrote his solo project late, after years of DJing, radio mixes and remix work.
A story
By age three he was identifying songs by looking at record labels. In their own words
