Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Machine-driven electro with sharp drum-programming, clipped bass, and Detroit phrasing. In a club set, expect older 12" material alongside later Clone West Coast-linked cuts, with plenty of pressure and swing rather than straight four-to-the-floor all night.

More about Detroit in Effect

D.I.E. is Detroit In Effect, the Detroit duo of Odell Perry and Tameko J. Williams. They came up on M.A.P. Records in the mid-1990s and have a long run of electro sides, including 'Detroit In Effect' (1995), 'The Unseen' (1997), 'The Men You'll Never See' (2002), and 'Detroit Party Train' later reissued through Clone West Coast Series.
